Lost San Diego - Levi Chase House

Built in 1873, the Levi Chase house at the corner of 11th and Broadway, was a spectacular gothic mansion and was San Diego's finest example of gothic revival architecture. It was torn down in the 1960s and a nondescript building replaced it. The insignificant building was torn down approximately two months ago.
