Enjoy the Holidays with SOHO
Enjoy the warmth and beauty of the holiday season as the Whaley House celebrates the holidays with special self-guided tours of the house.
Many of our modern holiday traditions began during the mid 19th century. Come to the Thomas Whaley House Museum to learn about the history of American Christmas traditions. We invite you to take a respite from the demand of daily living and the hectic holiday season. Greeted by docents in period dress, you will experience a small picture of 19th century family life, and learn about holiday décor and traditions of the early Victorian era. This is a charming and unique way to experience the holiday season. For a sweet ending, guests can walk across the garden to the New Orleans Creole Café and enjoy assorted desserts and hot cocoa or cider. The house is open every day but Wednesdays from 10am to 4:30pm.

Members Private Shopping Day
Get a head start on holiday shopping at the SOHO Museum Shop as members have the opportunity to enjoy a full day of shopping while the Museum is closed to the public. The SOHO Museum Shop will open its doors to SOHO members only on Wednesday, December 1, from 12 to 8pm

Guest Passes
Beautifully printed on high-quality paper stock, these passes grant priority entrance to the Whaley House and the Adobe Chapel during public hours and may be mailed to you or to your desired recipient. Passes to members only are $3.00 each; this represents a 40% savings on regular admission price.
Gift Memberships
Introduce recipients to the many benefits of being a SOHO Member. Gift Memberships can be mailed in a beautiful season's greetings card with a personalized letter from you to the recipient.
