2005 Calendar Modernist Houses
By Homer Delawie
First, thanks to ALL the volunteers who helped make this year's Whaley House Halloween events a huge success. This year's program was the best yet! Guests got to participate in the trial of Yankee Jim and then travel to the theatre for a spellbinding presentation of the Shadows of the Past. They got a sneak peak at what a house in Victorian Mourning might look like and what some of the traditions and protocol of the time would have been. The house was very active with more than just visitors! Best of all, visitors who have joined us before agreed that this "was the best yet" and they (like you) should plan on joining us next year for the "Shadows of the Past" and Halloween Week at the Whaley House.
Thanks to all our volunteers: Charley Bast, Larry Coe, William Doyle, John & Teresa Fistere, Vykki Mende Gray, Michelle Hamilton, Mary Jones, Ilsa Kuhlman, Casey O'Hanlon, Heather Sullivan and David Swarens.
