SOHO Recognized at the 2004 Alonzo Awards
The Downtown San Diego Partnership held its forty-second Annual Alonzo Awards on Thursday, October 14th.
The Downtown Partnership Alonzo Awards dinner is the exclusive ceremony recognizing downtown's leaders, projects and accomplishments over the past year. Among those receiving top honors at this year's venue was Save Our Heritage Organisation and the San Diego Padres for Historic Preservation in actively incorporating the Western Metal Supply Company Building into Petco Park.
SOHO thanks the Downtown Partnership for this prestigious award and great honor. Historic preservation is the key to revitalization today and it is through the cooperation between public and private agencies within a community that great things can and have been accomplished.
