Designation of Coronado Railroad to be AppealedOn September 7th the City of San Diego City Council will hear an appeal to de-designate this important treasure of San Diego's cultural past. This designation was made by their own Historic Resources Board and supported by every major historical organization and Museum in San Diego. Remember the city has no legal grounds to de-designate a property, however, they do it anyway. This has important ramifications for all future designations. We cannot allow this to continue. Please mark your calendar now for September 7th at 202 C Street, 12th floor at 10am. You do not have to speak but it is very important to be there for a show of hands. |
