SOHO's thirty-one year effort to raise awareness and appreciation for our historic buildings and landscapes would not have been as successful without its members. By encouraging historic preservation and supporting preservation education with workshops, home tours, and lectures, SOHO has enhanced the quality of life in our community.

Please take a moment to reaffirm your commitment to local historic preservation by renewing your membership. During this period of Board Member transition, renewal notices have not been mailed. If your annual membership has already expired, we will start your current membership at the time of your renewal, not when your membership expired.

As a SOHO member you will receive the quarterly newsletter Reflections, and an additional membership in the newly formed Friends of the Whaley House, as well as discounts at the museum gift shop and on all SOHO events.

Please consider renewing at a higher level of membership. SOHO has not raised rates in more than a decade, and any extra donation is greatly appreciated. SOHO is a 501(c)(3)organization, so your donation is tax-deductible.

With the stewardship of The Whaley House, your support is needed more then ever. This resource will allow SOHO to broaden its influence and further its mission to educate the public to the importance and the rewards of historic preservation.

Giving the gift of a SOHO membership is a great idea and at the same time is a gift to San Diego and its rich cultural and architectural history.
