This double bloom climber with pinkish flowers can reach heights of 20 feet and does well in Mediterranean climates booming spring, summer and fall. Developed in France by rosarian Joseph Pernet-Ducher in 1881, it was named after the daughter of fellow rosarian Ulrich Brunner and is a cross of Mignonette and a tea rose. Cecile Brunner is noted in Chauncy Jerabek's 1969 plant identification.
