Rhus integrifolia x ovate is a hybridization of the common Rhus integrifolia and Rhus ovata. These two Rhus are known to cross rather easily. Generally, Rhus integrifolia x ovate grows more upright forming a tree like structure as opposed to the shrub form common to the lemonade berry. Presidio Park has only two verified Rhus integrifolia x ovate.
