Opuntia microdasys BUNNY EARS CACTUS
Known for its irritating glochids, Opuntia microdasys produces tiny fibers rather than spines that can cause extreme discomfort. Nonetheless, this native of Mexico's Chihuahua Desert displays beautiful yellow spring flowers with purple-red fruit and an interesting "furry" bunny-ears appearance. |
