Frucrea gigantea MAURITIUS HEMP
This Caribbean native has become naturalized in temperate and warm climates all over the world. Its sword-shaped leaves can extend up to 6 feet long. It produces off-white flowers on an inflorescence that can reach heights of 25 feet. A close relative of the agave, Presidio Park's aurcraea gigantea are giant indeed. |
