Eucalyptus utilis COASTAL MOORT
True to its common name the coastal moort grows in sandy, alkaline loams along extreme southern coastal regions of Western Australia. The Eucalyptus utilis may be one of Presidio Park's most localized Australian Eucalyptus species. This moort is native to a very small geographic area. Formerly known as Eucalyptus platypus var. heterophylla this is a small and fast growing tree used for ornamental purposes in cultivation and useful as windbreaks. |
