Eucalyptus nutans RED FLOWERED MOORT
A small shrub-like Eucalyptus, the nutans species has molted bark and shiny foliage. Its crimson flower buds are nodding with a cream color on the tip, producing a similarly colored flower. It is native to a very small geographic range in the southern most areas of Western Australia, specifically the Ravensthorpe and Hopetown area. Eucalyptus nutans is an interesting species and Presidio Park is lucky to have one. |
