One of the most popular Eucalyptus used in cultivation, may be native to one of the smallest geographical ranges. This plant is grown in temperate and warm climates worldwide but is endemic to a very small area on the most southern tip of Western Australia. Eucalyptus ficifolia is known for is beautiful display of red flowers. It can reach heights of 30 feet. Presidio Park has several Eucalyptus ficifolia that have reached full maturity and may be among the original Percy Broell plantings from the early 1930s.
