Encelia californica BUSH SUNFLOWER
A member of the Southern California coastal sage plant community, this member of the daisy family shows off daisy-like flowers, spring through early summer. Encelia californica is heat and drought tolerant but sensitive to freezing temperatures. The bush sunflower is native to the west slopes of coastal ranges from Santa Barbara to northern Baja California. |
