Native to the east African nation of Kenya this rare Aloe is endemic to the higher altitude savannas (5,000-6,000 feet) of the region. It is unknown how the aloe nyeriensis came to be in Presidio Park, but the representative of Kenya is appreciated. Its beautiful red and orange flowers truly are magnificent.
