Robert McQuead
This longtime Escondido resident, Robert McQuead has been giving back to his community for 35 years and he's intentionally intertwined preservation into his personal and professional life. As an architect Robert has lent his expertise and passion to the city's Historic Preservation Commission for a quarter of a century; talk about stewardship! Not only that, he's responsible for relocating and restoring the 1888 Santa Fe Depot, which is a treasured icon in Grape Day Park, and for restoring or renovating more than a dozen historic homes and other buildings. As the owner, developer, and architect of some of his projects, Robert has demonstrated and promoted the highest and best preservation practices, which is sure to be a lasting legacy. |
