A Monumental Work
 Since 2005, Rice's biographer has devoted many hours to digging up little-known facts and the biographical chronology of this under-appreciated architect. She has shared her findings freely, reaching out to thousands of people, groups and organizations through a wide variety of media including video presentations, tours, quarterly newsletters, and online social media.
In 2010, she established Rice in her rightful place in history by publishing the seminal book Lilian J. Rice: Architect of Rancho Santa Fe, California. Recently, she honored Rice's memory in a very personal way after finding outside funding to correct the birth year on the architect's headstone at La Vista Memorial Park in National City.
