Keith York
Modern Miracle

After discovering his home owner Keith York has spent the last three years researching and restoring the only known residence in San Diego designed by modernist Craig Ellwood. Relying on the original blueprints to guide him, Keith has made an admirable commitment to this important home by going so far as to reduce its square footage significantly to restore it to the original design proportions. Cabinetry and other signature details of this master architect have been replicated as well. With the help of a cabinetmaker and a structural contractor, he has completed much of the work himself.
