Robin Lakin - Marston House Site/Events Manager & Museum Facilitator
Robin Lakin oversees daily operations and programs, recruits, trains, and coordinates volunteers for the Marston House Museum; she is also a member of SOHO's curatorial team and runs the Marston House Museum Shop. A native of Texas, Robin has lived in San Diego the majority of her life, and her early interest in history and historic places was lovingly fostered by her parents. She graduated from the historic Academy of Our Lady of Peace High School, and holds an associate's degree graduated in selected studies with a focus on history, the arts, and humanities. Beginning her journey with SOHO in 2000 as a volunteer at the Whaley House Museum, Robin joined the SOHO staff soon after, serving as staff and volunteer coordinator and curator for both the Whaley House Museum and the Warner-Carrillo Ranch House Museum before accepting the duties of site manager for the Marston House in 2021.
