The San Diego Press Club celebrated its 51st Annual Excellence in Journalism Award winners on October 22, 2024, at Liberty Station, and we are thrilled to announce that SOHO was recognized in this prestigious contest! Competing against a wide array of media organizations in San Diego County, this achievement underscores the outstanding efforts of our communications team, Alana Coons, Dean Glass, Ann Jarmusch, and Sandé Lollis.
The Press Club awards celebrate exceptional work across 130 categories and 10 divisions, encompassing fields such as reporting, writing, art, photography, videography, and public relations. Members of 15 professional journalism organizations from all over the United States serve as judges, adding national recognition to the honors.
This acknowledgment of our work is deeply appreciated as it affirms our team's dedication to producing award-winning, top-notch coverage about the importance of preserving San Diego's rich cultural and architectural history.
We are excited to share these multiple wins for SOHO:
- Robin Lakin, Alana, Ann, and Sandé were recognized for The Marstons: A California Family series, 15 chronological episodes and counting. The series delves into the legacy of one of San Diego's most prominent historic families.
