A day of adventure, entertainment, and history
By Kathryn Fletcher
November/December 2019
The 2019 stagecoach event at the Warner-Carrillo Ranch House Museum will take place on Sunday, November 10, from noon to 3pm. Tickets are $25 for SOHO members and $35 for non members. Included are a 15-minute ride on the stage along the original Butterfield Route, light refreshments, a tour of the ranch house and barn, and entertainment. You may also just tour the ranch house the day of the event and enjoy the fun. Cost is $5 for adults, $4 for seniors 65 and older, and $3 for children 12 and under.
Returning this year will be stage driver Sioux Munyon, along with her crew, and team of beautiful Belgian draft horses. Also on hand for the enjoyment of the public, will be the Jugless Jug Band, the Hole in the Wall Gang, and the Victorian Rose Tea Ladies. In addition, we will be raffling off a quilt handmade especially for this event by Nan Rebik, who will also be providing demonstrations on how quilts are made and tied.
Tickets for the stagecoach ride are limited and will be sold only in advance. Purchase tickets HERE.
It's a beautiful time in the backcountry so come and enjoy this unique, one-of-a-kind experience.
