Join SOHO November 25 for "Museum Shop Sunday"

A new holiday shopping tradition has begun and it is catching on internationally. On November 25, "Museum Shop Sunday," you will benefit from discounts and other perks when you make purchases at two SOHO museum shops—the Marston House and Whaley House—and some of their counterparts in San Diego, across the country, and even in foreign lands.
On November 25, SOHO is offering shoppers a generous discount on Individual memberships. Regularly $40 annually, they're reduced to $25 for in-store purchases only. You can become a member yourself, give Individual memberships as unforgettable gifts, or both! You'll also receive a 15 percent discount on purchases at both shops and one free museum admission with the purchase of an adult ticket. "Museum Shop Sunday" is held annually on the Sunday after Thanksgiving to shine a spotlight on the world of carefully curated jewelry, pottery, tiles, artwork, books, gourmet foods, and other specialty merchandise available from SOHO and other museum shops. Organized by the nonprofit Museum Store Association, this event also reminds shoppers that they are essential patrons of valuable cultural institutions with shops.
Other local participants in "Museum Shop Sunday" are the Mingei International Museum, San Diego Museum of Art, and Fleet Science Center.
