SOHO is a member of several museum councils including the Council of Interpreting North County History, also known as CINCH. Institutions and sites such as Rancho Guajome Adobe County Park, San Pasqual Battlefield State Historical Park, and the Rancho Santa Fe Historical Society are just a few of the incredible and resourceful agencies and nonprofits among CINCH members. These cultural advocates joined together in 1994 as a council to work on collaborative programming, to advocate for and preserve their collective North County histories, and to connect with each other and increase attendance at their museums and organizations.
"One of the many benefits of being involved with CINCH is that it allows SOHO to gain a more intimate look at preservation issues affecting historic sites in North County," said Jokie Tolentino, SOHO's Santa Ysabel Historic Site Manager. "By working together with like-minded organizations and institutions, as well as being able to offer our professional knowledge and assistance to the smaller preservation groups who may request it, we can help preserve history all over San Diego County."
