The arduous process of replicating wooden wheels for the Warner-Carrillo mud wagon is complete! Rolling out the fourth and last wheel for the wagon, and displaying the handmade quilt for the next stagecoach event raffle this fall are some of our backcountry volunteers. Don Simon and Rick Barr made all four wheels and hubs using Don's grandfather's hand tools and Patrick Dowdell helped install them. They also made shelving and a barn quilt for the ranch house.

Sharri Dowdell and Nan Rebik not only handmade several quilts for the raffle, but will also demonstrate quilting at the fall fundraiser when we offer stagecoach rides. In addition, Nan and Don provide entertainment during the event with their Jugless Jug Band.

SOHO is fortunate indeed to have such talented and enthusiastic volunteers supporting us at the Warner-Carrillo Ranch House. Thank you for contributing all your fine skills and artistry!
