SOHO invites your input into our annual Most Endangered List of historical resources in San Diego County. For decades, MEL has been an effective vehicle to alert the public, decision makers, property owners, and others to threatened historical resources. As you know, once they’re gone, they’re gone forever.

So if you’ve been keeping a watchful or worried eye on a historic property that’s in jeopardy of excessive alteration, or may be in the path of destructive development, or seems to be neglected or worse, you can nominate the building, landscape, or site for SOHO’s consideration. The 2022 MEL comes out in late fall.

Learn all you need to know about the Most Endangered List, including a compilation from 2001 to today, then present your concern through our submission form. And thank you for helping SOHO be the region’s best advocate for endangered resources.
