"At the Del, the road to the future is paved by history."

Curio Collection by Hilton, the Hotel del Coronado's new owners, are very complimentary of SOHO and other stakeholders who have helped preserve this fabled oceanfront icon for many years. In June, they hosted a special event to express high praise of SOHO and others who have been involved with the decades-long master planning process).

Prior to offering a tour of the hotel's rehabilitated industrial buildings, including the ice house, site of the hotel's future history museum, the owners announced a Legacy Brick Program fundraising campaign to benefit SOHO and the Coronado Historical Association.

You can own a piece of Hotel Del history and support SOHO at the same time! Reclaimed bricks from 1910-era industrial buildings at the Del will be used to create the Legacy Court, a brick terrace entryway to the new Ice House Museum, a history gallery in the restored Ice House building. Commemorate a family, person, special occasion or the memory of a loved one with these customized bricks. Brick prices start at $1500 and include a certificate of authenticity and invitation to the Ice House Museum opening. A portion of the proceeds from the purchase of the bricks will be donated to support Save our Heritage Organisation and the Coronado Historical Association.

SOHO is grateful to be included in this campaign and we look forward to the grand opening of the Hotel del Coronado History Museum.
