The Marston House Museum Shop is blooming with nature's most invigorating hues. It's the perfect time to send a colorful, uplifting notecard or small gift to friends and loved ones to celebrate the season. Treat yourself to a shopping experience unlike any other in town inside the 1905 Hebbard & Gill-designed Marston carriage house while supporting historic preservation in San Diego.

Recent arrivals include a dazzling selection of greeting cards and tea towels from the DM Collection. Artist Daniel Mackie’s stylized watercolors, inspired by Japanese prints and Art Deco and Arts and Crafts motifs, and will surely lift the spirits of those lucky enough to receive them from you.

Printmaker and visual artist Rachel Meehan’s exquisite floral motifs, taken from her own garden, transform greeting cards into works of art that entice you into worlds of springtime color. Rachel thinks the wrapping of the gift is as important as the gift itself, a notion evident in her stunning single-sheet wrapping papers, also available at the shop.

Hearth & Harrow specialize in hand-drawn, nature-inspired prints. Their organic cotton tea towels are hand printed, with inks mixed in-house to create captivating designs based on the ginkgo leaf, dandelion, squirrel, tiger moth, herbs, calendula, and lavender. All are made in small batches on organic cotton using environmentally friendly water-based ink.

Vibrant colors and natural themes characterize the fine artwork of artist and printmaker Katie Dean and her Little Green greeting cards. Produced on an antique letterpress using oil-based ink, hand-carved linoleum blocks, and cotton paper, these cheerful cards will brighten anyone’s day, let alone season.

We invite you to stroll through the Marston House's blooming gardens this spring and explore the museum shop's floral-themed treasures and take home a piece of Marston springtime with you. Don't miss this sweet chance to immerse yourself in the beauty of the season!
