We are happy to announce our outdoor reopening plans for the Marston House & Gardens! Having been vigilant and cautious throughout this pandemic, SOHO is taking the same approach to welcoming visitors back in phases.

First, the Marston House Museum Shop in the carriage house will reopen. Starting May 1, the shop hours are Saturdays and Sundays from 10am to 4pm. After being closed for more than a year, we've heard that customers from the neighborhood and around the city have been looking forward to seeing that big garage door at the front of the shop swing open once again.

Known for its fine selection of books, art, and specialty gift items, our shop will be filled with handsome Arts and Crafts tiles, an elegant selection of ceramic vases from a variety of renowned art potteries, as well as beautiful scarves and our popular line of hats. We are also hoping for a batch of specialty geraniums to sell from our long-time favorite hybridizer. He may also have some wisteria starts for us, lovely reminders of the mature, fragrant wisteria plants blooming all around the grounds.

Starting May 16, our outdoor walking tours will resume. Four tours are offered on the third Sunday of each month. The Bankers Hill, Seventh Avenue, Marston House Garden, and Marston House Architectural Details tours can each be booked in advance HERE.

Depending on the pandemic, we hope to resume house museum tours this summer. We'll keep you posted in Our Heritage News and look forward to seeing you in the shop or outdoors for now!
