SOHO's Concord Stage will join in Julian's Independence Day celebration this year!
Come to cheer stagecoach driver Sioux Munyon, her Belgian draft horses, and SOHO staff as they memorably promote our backcountry sites, the Santa Ysabel Store and Warner-Carrillo Ranch House, in this colorful event.
Julian's Main Street will close at 9am; you'll find parking in designated lots and on side streets. Arrive early and bring water and folding chairs, for best viewing. The pre-parade activities start at 10am and include a vintage plane flyover, a "Doves and Desparados" shoot-out, and music on three stages.
The parade, called one of the best small town parades in America, begins at noon and includes vintage cars and tractors; marching bands; equestrian units, and SOHO's stage. After the parade, stay for dancing and a deep pit barbeque at the American Legion. Go to www.julianparade.com for more information.
