 For over 50 years SOHO has served as a respected, trusted and reliable news source and authoritative voice serving San Diego’s historic preservation community.
With eyes and ears trained on the region’s rich history, culture, and heritage, we educate and inform readers on the importance of preserving the area's rich history, architectural and cultural landscapes, and other landmarks.
We operate as a multi-media platform. Print, digital, photography, video and social media. Publishing six online issues per year of Our Heritage eNews we cover the latest developments and news in the field of preservation in the San Diego region. We are laser-focused on protecting our area’s cultural and architectural heritage, and letting you know how you can help.
We are inviting writers to join us as a volunteer citizen journalist for Our Heritage eNews and contribute to the preservation of your community through the power of the written word. You can make an impact on the preservation of historic architecture and cultural resources in your community by reporting on saving measures, advocacy and threats, for example. Your writing can help raise awareness about the value of historic preservation and contribute to ongoing efforts to preserve our shared heritage.
