April is National Volunteer Month!

Thank you letters During April, National Volunteer Month, we say a resounding "thank you" to the exceptional people who are so generous with their time, talent, and enthusiasm in assisting SOHO. Our volunteers of all ages are crucial to SOHO's ability to fulfill its mission of historic preservation, museum interpretation, and education.

Volunteers are the heartbeat of any non-profit. In addition to the obvious financial impact you make by staffing our museums and tours, by sharing your time and energy you demonstrate the fact that SOHO is valued by the community. Through work, school, and social circles, you help us reach even more San Diego County residents (and beyond!) when you talk about your volunteer experiences with friends and colleagues. And thanks to the variety of ages, backgrounds, interests, experiences, and languages spoken, SOHO volunteers enable us to provide a higher quality of service than we ever could without you.
