April is National Volunteer Month!

During the month of April, National Volunteer Month, we would like to say a special "thank you" to the wonderful people who are so generous with their time, talent, and enthusiasm. Our volunteers of all ages are crucial for SOHO's ability to fulfill its mission of historic preservation and education.

Volunteers are the heartbeat of any non-profit, besides the obvious financial impact they make by helping to staff our museums and tours, they show that SOHO is valued by the community by sharing themselves with us. Through work, school, and social circles, they help us reach even more of San Diego county (and beyond!) when they talk about their volunteer experiences with their friends and colleagues. And thanks to the variety of ages, backgrounds, interests, languages spoken, and experience, our volunteers enable us to provide a higher quality of service than we ever could without them.

Thank you, volunteers, for all you continue to do to make SOHO the best it can be!
