Seeking a secluded oasis for your next private event? Look no further than the Marston House Museum & Gardens! One of California's finest examples of the Arts and Crafts movement and San Diego's premier house museum, the Marston House is surrounded by five acres of manicured and colorful formal gardens, rolling lawns, and mature trees. This rarefied location offers a one-of-a-kind setting perfect for intimate weddings, anniversaries, birthday and graduation celebrations, memorials, lectures, and award ceremonies—and corporate meetings. Small gatherings have become de rigueur as safety concerns for large events remain. We warmly welcome and encourage small groups.

Designed and built by internationally known San Diego architects William Sterling Hebbard and Irving J. Gill, the stately home was completed in 1905 for the George and Anna Marston family. Marston was a progressive civic leader well known for his work in historic preservation, land conservation, and history. Architecturally and in its authentic furnishings, the Arts and Crafts Marston House features classic Stickley furniture and Tiffany lamps, early California plein air paintings and other decorative arts and textiles.

Guided tours of the museum can be arranged for your event, offering your guests a truly memorable experience. Non-profit organizations and SOHO members are offered special rates.
