Al Alferos 1933-2006
SOHO's Executive Director 1990-1998A longtime friend and supporter of SOHO, Al is remembered by everyone who ever met him as genuinely warm and always ready with a smile. Somehow he remembered everyone's names along with their family or pets. Whatever it was you cared about he learned and remembered. Al was SOHO's Executive Director for nine years, and cared greatly about the organization. He was a kind man with a wonderful spirit and zest for life. Al will be missed.
In lieu of flowers, the family wishes that donations be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 4950 Murphy Canyon Road, San Diego, 1-800-272-3900.
