An Exciting Opportunity for Volunteers
By Teresa FistereThe Old Adobe Chapel has just been opened to the public by SOHO, and docents are needed. We can use you on weekends or any day of the week or month, or part of a day. Scheduling can be very flexible. We'll take you any time we can get you! Our initial goal is to keep the chapel open on weekends. Help us to begin this great new project.
It's a peaceful experience to be in the chapel. There's a gift shop, too. It's a museum owned by the City of San Diego (not a consecrated church) and has some wonderful relics dating back to the time of San Diego Mission de Alcalá.
