SOHO Receives Donation
from American Specialty HealthWe were delighted to receive one of the items listed on our wish list: a PowerPoint presentation system and lap top computer. These were generously donated by American Specialty Health.
American Specialty Health is the nation's leading specialty benefits organization for complementary healthcare, providing health benefit, health education programs and affinity network programs to employer groups, trust funds, health plans and insurance carriers nationwide. Based in San Diego, American Specialty Health has over 500 employees and more than 9 million members in benefit programs nationwide. We appreciate Zeke Montes for approaching the company for which he works for this much-needed equipment, which was immediately put to good use at the Modernism Weekend event.
Thanks also to the San Diego City Schools Education Foundation for the $1,000 grant for the purchase of a new laptop computer for the offices. Having a second laptop computer will contribute greatly to the momentum of the many projects we are working on daily.
