WHITE BUTTERFLY ORCHID TREE

A native to southeast Asia this Bauhinia displays beautiful white colored flowers. Prolific in its endemic environment it is slightly less common in Southern California than the Bauhinia blakeana or Bauhinia purpurea. The white butterfly orchid tree is noted by Chauncy Jerabek in the 1969 plant identification.
