How you can help save Balboa Park
Take these actions now!
Join the effort to fund SOHO's Plaza de Panama Legal Defense Fund.
- Write to City Council. We must make an impact on those who are voting on the fate of our park.
- Sign the petition. This is a new one and each time a person signs it, the council is notified. We have over 1,500 signatures now, let's make it thousands more. Share this with friends! And don't let up, just because city council has voted, keep signing, we need to keep up the voice of opposition. The must know they made the wrong and unlawful decision for Balboa Park.
- Write your local papers with a Letter to the Editor. Help get the word out, the public needs to be heard! Keep this up too. Let your local papers know just how disappointed you are with city council. And don't forget to applaud Sherri Lightner, who, in the face of such pressure and adversity, did the right thing and voted for the public and the park's rights.
- Poster for web or print. Hang in a prominent place and post to your website or social media outlet
