National City Historical Society and the Junior Victorian Club

Members of the National City Historical Society and the National City Junior Victorian Club visited the Marston House Museum in July. Happily leading the group was Marston House docent Susan Whaley, also an NCHS member and a distant cousin of Thomas Whaley, builder of what is now the Whaley House Museum. Members enjoyed their visit and were impressed with the home's architecture and history. Although many in the group had visited the Marston House gardens for several events, none had been inside the house until now. The NCHS operate the 1869 Frank Kimball House Museum at 932 A Avenue in National City, open Saturdays and Sundays 11am to 1pm.
