Board of DirectorsKen Anderson is the President and CEO of Walter Andersen Nursery, which was recently named one of the 100 Iconic Brands of San Diego by the San Diego Ad Club. A second generation native San Diegan Ken and his family have long been advocates to preserve San Diego's history. Ken's father Walter Andersen Jr. was a member of the Cultural Heritage Committee that established Heritage Park in Old Town and his Grandfather Walter Andersen Sr. was a member of the Old Town Kiwanis Club which was instrumental in establishing Old Town as a State Park. Ken has contributed to other non-profit boards in San Diego. He has been a trustee of the San Diego Maritime Museum since 1993 and also as a board member of the Better Business Bureau of San Diego and Imperial Counties. He is also a member of Rotary Club 33 of San Diego. Ken resides in Scripps Ranch with his wife Melanie and has four children.
